Japanese singer Hiroki Takahashi, who sang the opening theme of the first Dragon Ball series, will be among the guests at Cyprus Comic Con 2026, which runs at the Cyprus State Fair in Nicosia from October 2 to 4. Takahashi, the voice behind ‘Makafushigi Adventure!’, will share the stage with Panos Tsaparas, whose voice became associated with the Greek version of Dragon Ball, and Katerina Xanthou. The film and television line-up includes Clive Russell (Game of Thrones, One Piece, The Witcher), Vincent Regan (One Piece, 300, Troy) and Callum Kerr (One Piece, The Wheel of Time). They will be joined by Jonny Coyne, a Cyprus-born British actor who has appeared in the Star Wars universe and in a number of international productions. From the world of video games, Kirsty Rider, Rich Keeble and Maxence Cazorla of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 will attend, while voice actor and dubbing director Dimitris Sarlos will represent Greek dubbing. The non-profit event, run largely by volunteers, sees its international guests as part of a wider effort to bring the creative industries and their opportunities closer to people in Cyprus who want to work in them. It aims to give young illustrators, performers, developers and filmmakers a chance to meet communities and professionals, show their work and perhaps find a creative career that does not necessarily require a one-way plane ticket.
